Gamechanger Audio Plus Pedal Review

Gamechanger Audio most definitely changed the pedal game with the Plus Pedal.

In short, sustain for years!  Let's be real, this is not just a guitar pedal. This is a unique foot pedal for anything that can be plugged into it and will produce beautiful sustains and swells. There are a ton of guitar pedal options at Rogue Guitar Shop but like the Plus Pedal only a few are extremely unique in sound and function. 

There are two brilliant things that stand out on this pedal. The shiny golden foot pedal itself. It is touch sensitive and very responsive. It is not simply an on/off switch but seems to be very responsive changing the sustain volume based on how much pressure is given.

The second thing that is great about this pedal is that it can layer up to 5 sounds at a time! In other words it isn't just holding out a single note unless you want it to. Switching from single mode to group mode allows the player to set up to 5 layers of sound using the sustain knob to set how many groups you desire.

When you use the wet foot switch it allows you to kill the dry signal completely. A built in effects loop is also another killer option for finding even greater sound landscapes. Adding delay and reverb pedals is a pretty obvious must and will open up the skies of tone upon you! 

Gamechanger Audio used real-time audio sampling in the Plus Pedal. It is as if the pedal is taking a picture of the moment or sound you choose and samples tiny bits of the signal looping them into a seamless, warm tone. 

Unlike existing granular synthesizers and synth-pad triggers, PLUS Pedal actually runs a constant Hi-Res recording of your instrument, and once engaged, the RealTime sampling algorithm instantly creates a circular micro-loop out of the most recent audio signal produced by you.

Think of it as a smart looper that only catches the last segment of your chosen note or chord, and uses it to create a continuous sound.
