Duesenberg Effects

Duesenberg Guitars is a high end boutique guitar brand founded in 1986 and located in Hannover, Germany.  They bring to you the very finest in electric guitars and guitar effects pedals. Known for producing primarily semi-hollows that have distinctive and gorgeous Art Deco-like designs, They have produced everything from solid body, hollow body electric guitars, and all of its iterations. They've now handcrafted this same attention to tone and detail into their own array of analog guitar effects pedals to send your guitar into tonal bliss.

Retro-Design and Innovative Technology:  The fascination of the shapes and colors in the 40's and 50's and the permanent search for technical innovation were the driving forces. A good balance between respectful analysis of the classic constructions and designs on the one hand, and careful improvement and optimization of the technical details are the solid base that the brand is seated on today.

Then and Now:  In 1995 the first Starplayer was built in the basement of an apartment house in the south city of Hannover. Being founded by Dieter Gölsdorf as a one-man-business, the company today has around 30 employees. Several relocations were made and they're still growing. Modern manufacturing techniques like the newest technology in CNC milling machine or the Plek fret dressing machine result in being a synonym around the world for best quality and workmanship.

Art Deco:  One of the most important reasons for their success is the unique design concept. It is Dieter Gölsdorf's very own interpretation of the Art Deco style, which gives the intruments their distinctive appearance. Almost every part from the tuner knobs, the trussrod cover and the pickguard to the little switch knob is exclusively manufactured for Duesenberg, and features their trade mark: the three steps. They stand for what the brand is - always THREE STEPS AHEAD!

There are still countless ideas and concepts in Dieter Gölsdorf's drawer that are waiting to be made.  The appeal of these guitars and basses ranges wide, from celebrities like John Mayer and Johnny Depp to Joe Walsh, Slash, Elvis Costello, Keith Richards, Keith Urban, and dozens more. Many of the top players in the world are recording and performing live these top quality instruments. Now you can get this same tone quality in their guitar effects. From high gain to ambient tones, these include the Gold Boost, the White Drive II, the Violet Trem and more.
