When our customers asked for an instrument with all the tone and playability of our Classic Antique, without the antiquing we listened. The Classic S marries vintage design with modern improvements resulting in an instrument that is capable of producing iconic tones while retaining the build quality, features and playability you've come to expect from Suhr.
The Classic S features a Maple neck with your choice of Maple or Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The neck is tinted and finished with our satin acrylic urethane, which provides the smooth feel of natural wood as well as protection from moisture.
Alder is one of the most popular guitar body woods of the 1960's and is favored by blues and rock players for its strong, clear, full-bodied sound, with beefy mids and excellent lows.
The Gotoh 510 tremolo bridge features dual steel knife edge pivot points to provide greater functionality and years of trouble free performance. The 510s steel block increases sustain and tuning stability.
Available in two configurations: SSS with V60LP single coil pickups, or HSS with an SSV humbucker in the bridge position. The V60LP pickup is wound using a proprietary winding process that replicates the hand-wound pattern of some early-60's single-coil pickups which have a natural roll off on the top end, imparting sweeter and rounder highs. Both configurations include our SSCII noise reduction system.

What is your shipping policy?
We will ship completed orders Monday-Friday. Orders placed and paid before 1:00pm. PST will ship that same day. All completed orders after the cutoff time will ship the following business day. RGS does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30 day Exchange policy for new purchases. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received and we will exchange it for any product on ours site. Please note that we do charge a $5 dollar exchange fee to cover our shipping cost. We are a small business and do not offer a cash refund. We cannot take returns on sealed product. We do not accept returns for guitars and amplifiers under any circumstances. Unfortunately we also cannot cancel orders or pre-orders. We are happy to exchange for another product if you are no longer interested in the new release or backordered items
