A custom-tuned Rangemaster-based booster combined with the pre-amp section of a Laney Supergroup and carefully voiced together to get the riffs of doom that Tony Iommi is known for. Four controls allow you to fine-tune the response to your guitar and rig - Range, Gain, Presence, and Volume.
If you're familiar with Sabbath's live album, Past Lives, then you'll know where we were going with this pedal - huge, raw, responsive! This circuit is optimized for down-tuning but works equally great for standard tuning thanks to the Range control, which allows you to customize the treble-booster section of the circuit anywhere from treble-boost to full-range boost.According to Mr. Iommi, someone modded his Dallas Rangemaster. I don't know what he did to it, but it was really good. I used that treble booster on all the early Sabbath albums and put it into the Laney because it boosted the input and gave it the overdrive I was looking for, which amps in the early days didn't have. Then in 1979 another tech threw it into the garbage, thinking it was crap. Can you believe that?! So no one really knows what was done to it. But based on our experience, it was most likely changing it to be more of a full-range boost and possibly rebiasing it. So that's what we mean when we say you can customize the treble-boost section with the Range knob - you can continuously set it to any input frequency response you want.

What is your shipping policy?
We will ship completed orders Monday-Friday. Orders placed and paid before 1:00pm. PST will ship that same day. All completed orders after the cutoff time will ship the following business day. RGS does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30 day Exchange policy for new purchases. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received and we will exchange it for any product on ours site. Please note that we do charge a $5 dollar exchange fee to cover our shipping cost. We are a small business and do not offer a cash refund. We cannot take returns on sealed product. We do not accept returns for guitars and amplifiers under any circumstances. Unfortunately we also cannot cancel orders or pre-orders. We are happy to exchange for another product if you are no longer interested in the new release or backordered items
